Preheat oven to 350
 
  Line 2  9X13 pans (cookie sheets will do) with buttered al foil.  Line with soda crackers (whole crackers).
 
  In a sauce pan put 1 cup butter (the real thing), 1 cup brown sugar,  melt and stir together and then bring to a boil, letting boil 2 1/2  minutes (stirring as needed).
 
  Pour the mixture over the crackers, sprinkle with 6 oz cho chips and  some walnuts (or whatever else you like).  Bake until cho chips  melt, cut when still a bit warm.  Tastes like English Toffee.
